I have some exciting new products to show off. Albums!! I had two different albums ordered. The first one is a canvas cover book. This book is an 8x8. It comes in a nice protective box. The pages lay flat and have a protective UV coat on them. These make great keepsakes and gifts!

This album has a leather cover and is a 6x6. There are more colors to choose from. This album lays flat and doesn't cut through the middle, so one large picture can take up an entire page.

"S" was such a dream! She was chatty and laughing and was quite possibly one of the best ways to spend a Saturday morning. She loved to tell me stories and laugh and smile for the camera in between. She is definitely a cutie!!

Several months ago, I entered some photos in a contest to be published in a book that was being printed by one of my nerdy photography forums. Months went by, and I forgot about it. Then, I received an e-mail telling me congratulations, I had made it past the first round of cuts. Wow. Wasn't expecting that. A few weeks ago, I received the e-mail stating that I was a soon to be published photographer because one of my photos had made the cut! You can't imagine the happy dance that I did. At first, I thought, well, it's not THAT big a deal, I mean, it's just my PEERS that will see the book. Well, duh. Isn't that the highest honor? That your peers view your work as inspirational? So, I decided that I was going to be SUPER proud of it and show it to anyone who wanted to see.

Thank you, little Easton!! Your sweet little yawn, not only stole MY heart, but other people think it's pretty spectacular!!

I decided this year that I wanted some more personalized office supplies to help me stay organized. These binders almost got the best of me, design wise, but I figured it out in the end! :) I'm quite in love with them.

We've been waiting for Baby Finley in our gals circle and she is finally here!!! She is just as photogenic as her mama and a great sport for the camera. She just let me fold her and place her however I wanted. I wish all newborns would be just like her-- I could totally get into newborn photography that way!

It may have taken us two tries to get some good photos of everyone, I am pretty pleased with this session. In my first year of business, I have learned that boys don't generally like having their picture taken. So, sometimes? You have to resort to fart noises to get some smiles. I'm not above it.

Krista-- I really love your kids. They are so sweet and well behaved-- really! I know sometimes you would disagree, but they are pretty fantastic as I figure that you know! I love you girl! You are pretty fantastic too. :)

This family is part of our Fall family. And what I mean by that is, they are Alabama fans. We see them mostly in the Fall.. on campus! :) While there may be an LSU fan in there, we don't discriminate and I am extremely glad this session was done before we played those Tigers! :)

Their family dynamic is awesome. Tight knit, even if not everyone lives in the same city. And besides that? They make super cute children!

I enjoyed our morning at Aldridge Gardens! Roll Tide, guys!

What can I say? This is a beautiful family inside and out. I should know, Sarah is my sister. She is a great mom, wife, and most importantly to me, a fantastic sister.

Sarah and Andy are doing a wonderful job raising their boys, and hopefully soon, a little girl. They are in the process of adopting from China... you can read about it HERE

I really love being their photographer, because Sarah is the typical BIG SISTER. Which means, Bossy. Even though I am 26, she still bosses me around, and this is the only time in my life where I get to say, "No friend, I'm in charge here." I'm not gonna lie... I really love that. :)

This little wonder is very near and dear to my heart. Not only is she my best friends little girl, but she was one of the first newborns I ever photographed. Tay-- you have grown so much in a year. You have the best Mommy and Daddy and I am so proud to know you. It doesn't hurt my feelings at all that you reach for me from your Daddy's arms either!

I can't wait to watch you grow up even more. You already love watching Addison and Claire and I know that you will be friends for life! I love you, Baby Tay Tay!

I am in the middle of going through some new products, that are pretty amazing. This new template for accordion albums is bright and fun.

If you aren't familiar with accordion albums, they are brag books that can fit in your pocket. They are 3x3 size. You get a set of 3, with 10 pictures. The magnetically close and are perfect when people ask if you have any pictures of the kids!

My sister being a nursery nurse, has introduced me to some amazing people. Megan is one of them. This lady, she works for her family. She is an amazing family person. She's pretty crafty too!! "C" just turned one a few weeks ago and "M"- well, he is full of energy. Megan kept asking me if I wanted boys, and I replied, "No thank you." I enjoy the princess movies and the dress up. Boys? They make guns out of sticks and like to run around.

"C" was cool in this basket until it turned her over. And then she was over it and over me.

Ahh.. the stick gun. Gotta love 'em.

I'm pretty sure he is wondering what he can get into next.

I love this picture. Mom is all smiles, proud of her babies. Baby girl is hitting big brother on the head while brother screams. Classic. I swear, you can't write this stuff.

But you see? Boys love their Mama's. So, maybe I could handle that aspect of boys.

Sometimes, there are people that come into your lives for a reason. It could be for any reason. You could meet them in passing and become great friends. You could have been friends with them for years, but develop a friendship during crisis and not know how you lived without them. You could have gone to school with them, and then one football weekend, fall in love with them and their family and bond over insane family members.

The latter happened to me with The Coopers.

I wouldn't have it any other way. They came into my life and have been such great friends. Jenn has been spreading the news of the photography business and is showing me that just because you have multiple babies, doesn't mean you can't have a life! Jenn-- you rock, lady. I don't know how I have gotten along without you all of these years!! You are super woman and SUCH an amazing mom. Plus, you look amaze-balls!

The feet pic is taking the nation by storm... ;)

This little gem was my very first Maternity and Newborn photo session. A lot has changed since then! She is 8 months old now! Such a cutie! Britton seems like such a happy baby, and loved being Princess for the day!

I LOVE this giant flower! We used it in her newborn photos, and was bigger than her head. I totally need to get one of these to keep!

Cullman, AL Cutest Baby Contest Winner

Our contest winner happened to be a couple that I graduated high school with. Their baby boy, Brayden, won our Cutest Kid Contest. Jennifer's mom was all about getting her grandson's name out there, and it paid off!

It may have been extremely hot, but I think everyone was a trooper! Brayden was quite happy and content even if he had only had an hour long nap.

(I'm not really sure why my watermark is all jacked up, but it is, and I apologize. )

Cullman Area Family Photography- Sneak Peek "S" Family

Long time, no see, right? I had the amazing pleasure to photograph a this brother/sister dynamic duo. Older sis is the perfect little mommy for little man. Little man had more important things to do than have his picture taken, like pick up sticks and throw rocks and try to make us play baseball with him, but I think I was able to get some nice shots of him. He is a man of many faces, as I don't think I saw the same one twice!

Big sis is s a camera ham and totally adorable. I hope my girls can get get some pointers from her!

Could possibly be one of my favorite pictures ever.

Can you see the look in his eye? He was trying to nail his sister with a rock.. Yikes!

I actually had a hard time picking this week's picture. I have two absolute favorites.

These babies are so special to my heart. When I did this session, the first day (thats right. The FIRST day) I left feeling defeated. I was a one man show for 3 babies. I was way out of my league. Thank God, Jenn is a good friend of mine and I got to come back another day, because I got this AWESOME shot. Seriously, I was so proud that I was able to nail this, especially after the first day of shooting where no one was cooperative- especially the photographer. Cullman Photographer- The Cooper Clan

I would like to introduce you to The Cooper Clan. These amazing babies are truly the work of God. This post is going to be extremely hard for me to write without crying.

Jennifer and Shaun finally got pregnant only to find out at every doctors visit that there was one more baby each time. Talk about not wanting to go back to the doctor!

They became known as The Cooper Quads quickly. They knew that going full term wasn't an option, Jennifer just hoped to make it to February. While we were in California for the National Title game, the day her husband and brother left for Vegas, she was put in the hospital for bed rest until they were born. What a trooper!

The babies were born 3 months ago, although small, they were all healthy. Jennifer and Shaun spent most nights staying in Birmingham and sending those babies all the love they could through those incubators. At around 6 weeks, little Berkley Faith started having some issues. After a week of an emotional roller coaster for the entire family, she passed. Jennifer and Shaun did get to hold all four of their babies at one time and they do have a picture. I know they will cherish it forever.

For me, it's weird to call them triplets, because they will always be the Cooper Quads to me. My little Addison has enjoyed looking at the pictures of "All those babies" and I know she can't wait to hold one.

Cullman Engagement Photographer- Jennifer and Wes

I have known Jennifer and Wes since High School. So, it was such an honor to get to do their engagement session! Wes is in the Army and has done TWO tours of duty, while Jennifer has been in the States. I don't know how they did it, but kuddos!! They are so adorable together and you can really see the love they have for each other!

Jennifer's eyes are absolutely stunning!

The Zills are one of my favorite families, not only do we have an arranged marriage with Nate and Addison, they are just fabulous to hang out with! I'm not sure how Nate and Addison are going to make through going to two separate colleges, but I'm sure they will work it out! :)

Cullman Area Photographer- Caleb

In case you didn't know, I am portfolio building newborns, and Caleb lives right across the street! He is so cute! He was asleep for the first half of the session, but woke up when I started putting funny hats on him. His big brother and Addison love to play together, their favorite thing to do? Chase each other around.

I feel like he is smiling at me in this one.

I just got this hat in a few weeks ago and hadn't had a little boy to try it out on!

Is there anything more precious than some baby feet? I just want to kiss them!

Cullman Area Photographer- Siddalee

Miss Siddalee is in pageants, and her Mama wasn't digging the photogenic head shots that she was turning in. I have to agree, it didn't show off how absolutely beautiful this little girl is. She was a little slow to warm up to me, but I am persistent, and soon she asked, "How did you know where I live?" Ha! Her eyes just suck me in!

This just shows her personality... she was MADE for the stage. I didn't see one of those fake smiles like my daughter has.

She had the most adorable TinkerBell costume and we really wanted some pictures in the green grass, but it was COLD and I couldn't stand to see her shiver.

Cullman Area Photograhy- Baby Easton

Baby Easton is a friend of mine's 3 months old. He is so cute and super laid back, unless you put itchy hats on his head and dress him and undress 50 times. He starts to get a little cranky then, but otherwise, a delight for the camera.

This is probably my favorite of the bunch.

When Allison showed up with these random articles of clothing... I knew what to do!

This is right around the time he started giving me his, "Are you NOT done yet?" face.

I like to think he is crying because of all the Auburn around him, but I know it's not true.

Cullman Area Photographer- Sneak Peek Sisters L and K

Saturday may have been extremely cold and somewhat rainy, but I got a little sunshine from two of the most precious sisters, L and K. They were super sweet and were seriously bonded together in a way I can only hope that my daughters are. They are absolutely gorgeous and just full of personality. L was a little on the shy side while K would seek me out for pictures. They were troopers with the cold and we tried to hurry because we were trying to outrun some rain. These girls are the reason that I love photography so much- because I take a little piece of them home with me. I may not impact their lives that much, but they sure do pull on my heart strings.

Thanks so much girls!! I wouldn't have wanted to spend a cold, rainy Saturday any other way!

I finally did Claire's one year pictures! Only a month late... but, I can wait until the light is perfect and there are no bumps on the nogging, since I am the photographer. Last week I got to finally see John's cousin's baby, Ashlyn. I can't get over how cute she was!! I still can't tell who she looks like. At first glance, she looks like Scott, but as I edit these pictures, I see a LOT of her Poppy in her. She is definitely a McPhillips!

Sneaky Peeky! Beautiful T!

Meet the beautiful "T". She is serious and a little shy at first, but absolutely gorgeous!! I photographed her a couple of days before Christmas so we had to get a couple of shots in front of the Christmas tree!

This was towards the end of the session and I feel like she is saying, "Seriously Lady? Enough with the camera!"

Sneaky Peeky! The Q Family!

I got to photography the Q family earlier this week and they were such a joy!!! I've known Holly through my sister's breastfeeding support group, and her children are so adorable! They all have the most amazing eyes and the longest eye lashes you have ever seen!

I love this family picture! I love that all the interaction between Dad and 2 two boys!

I have SO many great pictures from this shoot, it's going to take me a while to edit, but they are such a beautiful family!

Baby Lucas-Sneaky Peeky

While we were in Atlanta, a friend from high school asked me to take some pictures of her little boy. I couldn't pass it up! He is so adorable! Unfortunately, he was also very tired, and passed out during the session. No worries! I love a good picture of a sleeping babe!

The drool bubble is my absolute favorite!

It's so amazing to see new moms totally at ease with their new babes. I was a total crazy person and was petrified to go anywhere by myself with Addison. So, Kudos to Scarlett!

We have added yet another beautiful baby girl to our group! One of my good friends, Rebecca and her husband, Robbie have had a long road to get her, but she is here and fabulous! I cannot tell you what a pleasure it was to get to photograph this family. These two were made to be parents. Rebecca was such a natural at being a mother!! Taylor was born about 10 weeks early and got to come home this past weekend at 5 weeks! She weighs 4 lbs 6 oz. Can you imagine?!!?

We're so glad your here, Taylor! When you get big, Addison and Claire are going to show you even MORE tricks to wrap your Daddy around your finger!

This hat was about the only thing that fit her! She is so tiny!

Sneak Peek! The "W" Family

I had such a great time photographing this sweet family! H is 9, L is 6, and E is 15 months. They are so adorable. I totally fell in love with them. Such hams for the camera! Well... except for E... who would literally, run, as fast as she could from me whenever I pointed the camera her way!

I was in love with H's boots!

E has gorgeous eyes!

Look at these three! They are all so sweet and well mannered!

L was NOT wanting to do this, but I promised him, it would make his Momma so happy!

I got to photograph three of the most precious little boys on Saturday! They were so adorable. I'm not sure how momma does it though. They wore me out just watching them!

Hayden is so photogenic! He totally hammed it up for the camera!

Carson didn't care for the sun in his eyes, but he is totally adorable!

Landon was much more interested in playing than that crazy lady with the camera. He did not even want to look at me when I had that thing pointed in his face, but I was able to get some sneaky shot in there! I feel like he might be saying, "Howdy, Ma'am!" If only he had his cowboy hat!

The Hinson Five. Sneak Peek!

For once in my life, I got to boss my older sister. I'm not going to lie. It felt G.R.E.A.T. She always "hems and haws" ( is that the right phrase?) over having their pictures done but never actually books a session. I told her last week that if she wanted me to take their Christmas card photos, I was doing it Saturday or not at all. She took it surprisingly well.
I do have to say, though, The Hinsons, aren't on the Aunt Rach page of Photography. BUT, I think it went well and we got some great shots of the family.

This is sweet little James. He doesn't care much for sitting still and smiling for the camera. James does MUCH better if you make gas noises and get him talking and laughing. He is such a BOY. But he is stinking adorable and totally steals my heart.

This is Andy. He doesn't like to have his picture taken much either, but he is quite photogenic and absolutely hilarious.

Let's be honest. There's nothing better than a little black mail material for a 13 year old boy. Especially in pink sunglasses.

The family. Aren't they adorable? They are my world and rock and I love them!

Now, I realize that this title says Hinson Five and you only count 4 bodies. You see, they are in the process of adopting a little girl from China. They have JUST started the process and needed a good family picture for the adoption agency. We're not sure where little Emily Margaret is, but she is somewhere waiting on this gorgeous ( inside and out!) family to bring her home. They will shower her with love and attention and introduce her to Christ. She is going to be such a blessing to our family. I cannot wait to meet her!

This is very first swimsuit and she is going to be adorable in it. My sister keeps this hanging up in the house as a reminder for what they are working hard to do. She is incredibly strong and is certainly deserving of a little girl.

I am so glad we finally got to do this session! These are some of my oldest friends and they wanted to get some Christmas card shots. They are absolutely adorable together and are extremely photogenic. They were so much fun to work with! This was a last minute session on Sunday, but I am so glad we were able to get it in.

We went up to Buettner Brothers, which is where my husband works. It was so great to incorperate this building into the shots. This first building is the original Buettner Brothers. It is over 100 years old! It made for some awesome shots.

Baby Britton! Sneak Peek.

I got the chance to photograph Baby Britton last week. She is just gorgeous. I can tell she is going to be tall and beautiful, just like her mommy. Jamie is absolutely stunning, I couldn't even tell she had given birth 10 days prior! Britton has more hair at 10 days than Claire does at 10 months.

I was extremely nervous since this was my first newborn shoot, and I didn't want to mess up. There were shots that I would've loved to have tried to get, but Britton had a big day with lots of family visiting earlier in the day, and I didn't want to push her (or mommy) over the edge.

I can't wait to watch Britton grow up! She was just a perfect little model for everything we threw at her. She was a total natural and didn't mind the crazy lady with the camera! :)

FINALLY!

Finally. It feels so official now. My website is live and my blog is up. I can really say I am a photographer now. It feels like I have just had my third child and it's amazing! This dream was realized this past Spring and has been in the works since April of 2009. It took many years and a LOT of growing up to realize it, but I'm glad to be here. For those of you who don't know me, I am a mother of 2 daughters Addison ( who turned 3 on Sunday) and Claire (who just turned 9 months). It took both of them here to finally see where I was suppose to be. I have enjoying working hard to get everything up and running and look forward to sharing photos with you.

Danielle at the Design Girl did my logo and my blog and she did an AMAZING job. She was awesome to work with and super sweet. She kept me updated every step of the way. I never felt like a burden to her and cannot sing her praises enough.

I would like to say "Thank You" to my family and most of all my husband who was looked over my shoulder at every picture and answered the question, "What do you think about this picture?" more times than he probably cares to admit. He has given baths every night and cleaned the kitchen with very little complaint and without him I couldn't be doing this today.

Here are some pictures of my first maternity shoot with Matt and Jamie. She is due in about a week and is one of those pregnant women who will make you sick. Tall, gorgeous and she looks like a basketball is stuck under her shirt. It was raining, so we didn't get to do too many outdoors like I would have liked and Matt was a little sulky, because he is a huge Georgia fan and they had just lost their game the day before. He was a good sport though!
